The Court Reporting job growth rate is surprisingly good up to 2018, but that doesn’t sell me as a career option because who knows what the market is going to do in the years to come. Some economies reported this week that we are already in a depression and a long depression is what is forseable for the next few years to come. The head of the bar association came out last year and said directly to law students to look for another career option. I think nobody knows. Still this career choice seems far more promising than the majority of other jobs.

Law student’s outlook may be questionable, but not court reporters. As long as we have court activity we’ll need reporters. I’d go for it. Plus it allows you freedom to work independently. It’s a great career.

Just read your post. I kind of support your views though there are two to three points which I don’t think I would agree with what you have said. The best part of it is the way you have written the stuffs. The language was easy to follow and your style was appealing. English is my second language and you have done a good job avoiding jargons and difficult phrases. Keep on writing more posts.
PS: I have already subscribed to your blog’s RSS feed.
