Everest University is a member of the for-profit universities system in the United States. Everest University runs career college programs and a Graduate School of Business. Owned by Corinthian Colleges International Inc., the Graduate School of Business offers a Master of Criminal Justice and a Master of Business Administration.

The Florida Commission for Independent Education has given a license to Everest University. The Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization has also given an approval to the undergraduate and graduate programs of the university. All campuses of Everest University are Career College Association members.
