    Hi:
I just finished transcribing all the interviews for The Social Media Bible, http://www.TheSocialMediaBible.com, co-authored by Lon Safko, published by John Wiley & Sons. I became part of the team virtually; I am a virtual transcriptionist.

I only mention this as a testament to the power of social media, or as I like to call this combo of what happened to me as a virtual assistant, Social Media ².

I urge all to go to and listen to these nearly 50 interviews with the top SVP’s and founders of the major social media companies world wide, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, etc. They are 30+/- minute podcasts about how each social media technology is being used for business.

This is a great resource for all of us, and I felt like I had earned a Master’s Degree upon completion of the transcription.

  11. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post.

I would like to teach social media marketing for small business at a four year college that is being built here in my hometown of Payson, AZ by Arizona State University. I am an experienced blogger and owner of a blog network with landing pages, link directories, websites and more. I learned about how to use Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Digg and a lot more by using them to promote the sites within my network and now I offer social media marketing for small business via a consulting co that I own. I have all the experience and the desire to learn more but I am going to need creds to teach it. Any ideas?

@ Dick Great, good to know about your interest in social media. Did you try checking with the university you are interested in? I would advise you to check with them, sometime colleges allow guest faculty to conduct special courses. Plan out a proposal, you need to talk to them about how you can assist them.

    Good Luck!
